Bonnie McKenzie is an Organisational and Clinical Psychologist
and Master Coach for Executives, with 15 years of coaching
experience.Bonnie is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional
(CEAP) with a number of years experience as a Senior Manager
and Coach for a manager support service to middle and senior
level executives.
Bonnie, originally from the United States,
immigrated to Australia in l982, and has worked in the
private and public sector both here and overseas since 1978. |

Much
of her professional time has been spent coaching in ongoing
confidential one to one relationships with both executives
and their teams, using a solution-focused framework and a
range of developmental strategies to support her clients
in uncovering their untapped potential and achieving their
goals. Her work has a solid theoretical basis, using empirically
tested models for interventions in the workplace. She has
studied coaching and mentoring with international organisations
including the European Mentoring and Coaching Institute
Bonnie’s special areas of practice include:
- One to one coaching with executives and their
teams for skill enhancement, high performance in work roles,
and for personal
and professional development
- Conducting Mentor master classes for senior executives
- Installing mentoring programs in organisations particularly
for
merged cultures, attraction and retention of valued employees
and enhancing high potential people. Her focus is on
building mentoring values including formal workplace
assessments of
executive needs and value systems.
- Diversity initiatives for women executives in organizations
Bonnie is highly sought after as a keynote speaker and in
ongoing consultancy roles with a variety of organisations.
She was invited to write a book on Executive Mentoring by
Woodslane Publishing with her book, ‘Friends In High
Places’ published in March 1995. Her second work was
commissioned by the Australian National Training Authority
and is entitled, ‘Coaching in Learning Organisations,
published in l997.
