Jill Macnaught - Director
MA(Psych) MAPS MAICD

As an executive coach, Jill brings to her work over twenty five years of experience in supporting people’s development and growth.

Jill’s background is in consulting and organisational psychology. She held leadership roles with public, not-for-profit and private organisations before moving into her own psychological and organisational consulting business in Sydney’s CBD in 1995. Jill subsequently became one of the first people in Australia to establish a business specialising in executive and leadership coaching.

Jill has successfully coached CEO’s, MD’s, Divisional Heads, senior leaders and senior executive teams from diverse professional and industry backgrounds. These include banking and finance, media and communication, professional services, information technology, publishing, tertiary education, manufacturing, logistics, retail, applied sciences, and the Government sector. She has led a number of major projects, which have included large-scale research on organisational culture and climate, and senior leadership programs in support of strategy implementation and cultural change.

Jill has studied leadership and organisational performance in the US and Europe. A highlight for Jill was her attendance in mid 2001 at a four day workshop with US teacher and researcher, Jim Collins (author of best-sellers “Built to Last” and “Good to Great”) at his management laboratory in Boulder, Colorado. That same year Jill presented his research as a keynote speaker to the Leadership Consortium in Melbourne. Jill is a keen student of executive coaching research, has presented at a number of conferences and symposia on coaching and leadership, and is involved in the teaching of courses in coaching and positive psychology at university level.

Jill is a creative and strategic thinker, with a coaching style that is highly facilitative, enabling clients to achieve greater self awareness and self understanding, and to align their values and passions with all that they do. With an approach that is both professional and practical, Jill supports her clients’ ongoing success in both their work and personal lives, and to further realise their highest aspirations. Much of her coaching work supports senior leaders to implement their business strategy and objectives through highly effective people practices.

Jill values time with her family and the pursuit of personal interests, along with community involvements that include being Chair on the Board of a medium sized NFP organisation.

Jill is a full member of The Australian Psychological Society and the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and in on the panel of AICD's Coach Connect.
